Miko Photography business portraitWelcome to the new Miko Photography website! Along with the expertise and creativity of our web designer Rachel Noto (pictured right) we believe we’ve put together a site that will provide you with the information you need as well as a most enjoyable visit.

To celebrate our new site we have over $1000 in prizes to give away! We will be holding a contest and drawing 10 winners on April 25th.

The prizes:
– $25 Starbucks gift card (x2)
– $75 Miko Photography gift certificate (x7)
– $500 Miko Photography gift certificate – Grand Prize!

Three ways to enter:
– Comment! Let us know what you think of the new site. Let us know what a wonderful job Rachel has done for us! Let us know if there is anything that doesn’t look quite right in your browser. We welcome all your comments, you can leave them here(click on post title) or on our facebook page.
– If you are an existing client you can receive two entries for providing a testimonial we can publish. Testimonials can be left as a comment on the blog or sent via email.
– If you are an existing client you can also receive two entries for providing a review on our Google Places page here.

We’d also love to keep in touch! There are three ways we invite you to let us stay in touch:
– To the right you will find an email subscription form that will make sure you are notified every time we post. This will include specials, news & frequent photographic samplings of what we are currently working on.

    We originally met Jana when we had our first child, and had newborn pictures done with our daughter. We were so impressed with our experience during the shoot and the final product! She really understands how to work with families, and really made us comfortable while we were still learning about our new baby. Since then, we have booked other family sessions with her, including one on our family’s rural farm. We are always thrilled with the results of her work; many of her portraits hang on family and friends’ walls. We have recommended her many times in the past four years.     Site looks great ladies! When I went to look at the gallery pics did not seem to come up right away or I was just impatient… where you have it say “loading- please wait” can you make it look like it rotating/ have a timer or something so I can see it’s loading. When I later clicked on the galleries the pics came up but I did have to wait a few seconds and wasn’t sure if my computer was stalling or not. Keep up the great work Jana!

    Thanks Mary Ann! We plan to speed up the galleries by making them a bit smaller as some of them have 100+ images in them. I will look into the idea or a timer as well. Thank-you for your suggestion!
